Medford Announces COVID Testing Schedule For Students, Staff

Here is when your student can get tested for the coronavirus before returning to hybrid instruction.

MEDFORD, MA — The Medford Public Schools will return to hybrid learning Thursday, Jan. 14, starting with students in Cohorts A and C. Cohort B is expected to start hybrid instruction Tuesday, Jan. 19 after the MLK holiday weekend.

Superintendent Marice Edouard-Vincent announced the schedule for coronavirus testing, which is being done in collaboration with Tufts University. Testing will be done in the usual location at each school:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1pm – 5pm: All MPS Staff, Cohort A, Cohort C
  • Friday, Jan. 15, 1pm – 5pm: Cohort B

Families who would like to enroll their students in testing are asked to send this signed form to their schools principal's office before this Friday, Jan. 8. Questions should be directed to the school nurse or principal.
