Medford to Break Ground on Krystle Campbell Peace Garden This Weekend
The memorial will be dedicated to those who lost their lives in the horrific Boston Marathon bombings.

This weekend, Medford will break ground on a memorial dedicated to those who lost their lives in the horrific Boston Marathon bombings in 2013, including Medford native Krystle Campbell.
The Krystle Campbell Peace Garden will also honor Martin Richard, Lingzi Lu, Officer Sean Collier, the survivors, and first responders. Each individual will get a personalized plaque.
Millions of dollars was raised through state grants and donations to build the memorial.

Mayor Michael McGlynn will be dedicating the Krystle Campbell Peace Garden on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 2:00 p.m. The ceremony will be held at 101 Riverside Avenue.
Many of the victim’s families, survivors, and first responders will be in attendance.
