RISE Together’s proposed development would include approximately 257,000 square feet of bio-safety level 1 and 2 laboratory space and a below-ground parking garage for 422 cars. In addition, the building’s ground floor will include 3,000 square feet of dedicated retail space, a landscaped public plaza, dedicated indoor bike storage, and nearly 9,000 square feet of flexible community and lobby space.
RISE Together held an initial community meeting about the project on September 16, 2021. The project has also applied for zoning relief through Medford’s Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA). The ZBA is expected to hold a public hearing on the project in June.
