Medford Coronavirus: 8 Positive Cases, 2 Recovered
Health officials learned Monday of a case involving a Medford High School student.
MEDFORD, MA — Health officials announced Monday there are eight active positive cases of COVID-19, the illness associated with the coronavirus, in Medford. All residents who have tested positive are currently in quarantine.
Two residents who previously tested positive and were quarantined have since recovered.
On Monday, health officials learned of a positive case involving a student at Medford High School. The student was at school March 12 but did not show symptoms until several days after school was closed.

Students and staff at Medford High School are not required to self-quarantine unless they are displaying symptoms.
