MEDFORD, MA — Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced that the city’s Spring Cleanup will take place on Saturday, April 19 between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The effort will be led by volunteer ambassadors, who will determine which areas need the most cleaning. Ambassadors will distribute supplies, assist volunteers, and be liaisons to the Department of Public Works.

“The goal of the citywide cleanup is to pick up trash and debris that’s accumulated over the past year to make Medford's neighborhoods and greens spaces clean, safe, and enjoyable for all,” Lungo-Koehn said in a statement.
