Medford High Teacher Wins Green Award
Audrey Carmosino was recognized by the school committee Monday night.

Medford High School environmental science teacher Audrey Carmosino was recognized for her "green" practices at a school committee meeting Monday.
In May, Carmosino was awarded as Green Teacher of the year by non-profit Green Schools. She was given a certificate for her accomplishment by the school committee Monday night.
Carmosino's work at the high school has included efforts to improve recycling and implement a community garden. She credited her students for motivating her environmental practices.

“Without them I can’t do any of (this)," she said. "Particularly this year. I had the best students in the world.”
