Medford Invites Residents to Take Climate Change Course

Medford is encouraging its community members to take the course in order to safely plan for the future.

The City of Medford is partnering with the Association of Climate Change Officials to present the Climate Change Fundamentals Academies at Boston University.

Medford would like to invite its residents and Tufts Communities to take advantage of the City’s promotional code to get a 20% discount when you register: CFA-Discount-Medford. There is no limitation to the number of people who can use our code to register.

This first workshop, offered October 5th and 6th, 2015, focuses on climate science, identifying climate hazards, conducting vulnerability assessments, leveraging climate change data and tools and understanding the energy-water-food nexus.

This workshop enables decision makers across roles, functions and sectors to develop a better understanding of how the implications of climate change intersect with their decision making.

The City encourages members of the community to consider taking the class so that residents can all begin to use shared language to talk about climate change and vulnerabilities as Medford prepares for the future.
