Medford Man Wins Large Lottery Prize

MEDFORD, MA — A resident won more than half a million dollars from the Massachusetts State Lottery as he was the winner of an instant ticket game, the state agency announced.

Thomas Beasley purchased his winning ticket in the $4,000,000 Monopoly Doubler game from the Daily Mart at 267 Spring St. on Thursday, Nov. 6. Beasley chose to receive his winnings in the form of a one-time payment worth $650,000 before taxes and reportedly plans on investing the money. The Daily Mart will receive $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.
