Medford Mayor Launches Reelection Campaign
The city's election will take place in November.

MEDFORD, MA — Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced she is running for reelection.
The incumbent is seeking a fourth two-year term in office. Lungo-Koehn was first sworn in as mayor in 2020 after eight years of service on the city council. According to the city, Lungo-Koehn was a driving force behind the multi-year Capital Improvement Plan, hiring the first development director, park and fire station improvements, and most recently the drafting of a new city charter.
“We have accomplished so much for Medford, from park renovations, to infrastructure improvements, to historic investments in our schools and so much more. But we’re not done yet,” Lungo-Koehn said in a statement. “That’s why I’m announcing my run for reelection, because our work isn’t finished and we need to continue to build a more vibrant, accessible, and thriving city.”
