Medford Residents Lose Power After Utility Poles Fall: Report
Residents of Arlington lost power for some time this week.
MEDFORD, MA — Residents lost power for a short time this week after two utility poles fell on Arlington Street, according to a report from 7 News Boston.
The poles collapsed onto the properties of nearby residents, with one of them crushing a fence. Four homes lost electricity overall. The street had to be closed for a portion of the day on Monday as linemen from National Grid worked to repair the fallen poles. According to one of the affected residents, the poles that fell are more than 30 years old.
