Medford's Holiday Celebration Set for Wednesday

The annual Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanza celebration will be held at City Hall.

Medford will hold its annual holiday celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at City Hall.

The event, which is sponsored by Comcast and co-sponsored by the Medford Chamber of Commerce, will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Lighting of the Hanukkah Menorah, the Christmas Tree, and the Kwanza Kinara will take place. WROR’S street team will provide music and games for kids.

Pat the Patriot and Wally the Green Monster will be on hand for the event. Face painting, balloon artists, hayrides and ice sculptures will also provide fun for those in attendance.

Enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, raffles, bake sales and a visit from Santa Claus and his elves at the Jingle Bell Decorated Tree Festival.

The United States Post Office will unveil it’s new “Holiday Peanuts Collection” stamps
and they will be available for purchase.

This is a free event, but attendees are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the United States Marines Corps “Toys for Tots Program.”
