From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

Move over Bruce Springsteen. The Medford High School band played at Fenway Park Sunday for runners in the Run-Walk to Home Base, a road race which finishes in Fenway's infield. The band played music for participants to provide entertainment, encouragement and support. They also got to enjoy the rest of the day's festivities at Fenway Park. The Home Base Program raises money to support local veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Information used in this report provided by Medford High School
