On the Agenda: A City Land Sale, Budget Talks

Items on Medford City Council agendas this week.

During its regular meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at City Hall, the city council will consider a request from Mayor Michael McGlynn to sell about 2,500 square feet of land at 0 Washington Avenue to abutters, who will divide it equally. The price - $3,868. 

The city council will also continue its initial review of the municipal budget in meetings this week. They will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. to review Environment, Conservation Commission, Council on Aging and Health department budgets, according to an agenda. The will hold a second budget meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to review budgets for Veterans, Building, Electrical, Library, Finance/Purchasing, Insurance, Assessors, Treasury and Bonds and Interest Departments. Both meetings will take place in room 207 of City Hall.
