This Area Of Medford Will be Affected By An Overnight Power Outage

MEDFORD, MA — The city announced that a power outage is scheduled to take place on the night of Monday, June 30.

The outage, which was originally scheduled by National Grid to occur this past Friday, will affect five streets in the vicinity of Wellington Circle. It is slated to begin at 11 p.m. and end at approximately 6 a.m.

According to National Grid, the outage will affect all of Seventh Street, Ninth Street, and Brainard Avenue. It will affect parts of Fifth and Sixth Streets.

The city emphasized that the planned outage will affect street lights, so overnight drivers should take extra precaution.
