Police Log: Resisting Arrest Charges, Reported Armed Robbery at Bank

Two Somerville men arrested early Saturday morning on Riverside Avenue face assault and resisting arrest charges, according to the police log.

Isaiah Brizuela and John Norena, both 18, and of Somerville, were arrested near 116 Riverside Ave. shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday, according to police. Brizuela was charged with resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer, and  Norena was charged with resisting arrest and assault, according to the log.

Also among the items in the police log was a reported armed robbery at 53 Locust St., the address of Eastern Bank. The report was received at 10:43 a.m. Saturday. Further information was not immediately available from police Monday morning.
