Police Log: Woman Charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon

Medford police log; Friday, April 29 to Sunday, May 1, 2011.

A Lynn woman was arrested on Walter Street Sunday and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and other charges, police said.

Sylvia Mazziotta, 44, was arrested shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday at 27 Walter Street and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and disorderly conduct, according to a police report.

Also arrested during the incident was Jerome Mazziotta, 50, of 24 Walter Street. He is charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, according to police.
