Opportunity Pops Up For Medford Business Owners
The program aims to help multiple small business owners in a relatively short period of time.

MEDFORD, MA—The city’s Economic Development Department announced it has partnered with UpNext, a business consulting company, to spotlight local small businesses.
Project: Pop Up has appeared in 20 Massachusetts communities featuring a total of 70 different brands since it was founded in 2021. Its goal is to give participating businesses the chance to grow their companies. The program’s Medford edition will feature a temporary storefront on 68 High St. in which numerous entrepreneurs will house their businesses between May 1 and July 15.
The city is accepting applications from small business owners who employ fewer than five people, and have a household income of 80% or less of the area median income of approximately $118,000. Applications can be completed online through Project: Pop Up’s website.
