Road Work Coming To Medford's High Street
Temporary lane restrictions will be in place at the start of next week while paving is done for the Safe Routes to School project.
MEDFORD, MA — MassDOT has announced temporary lane restrictions on High Street in Medford early next week.
Traffic impacts will run from 7:30 p.m.-5 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 15 and Monday, Aug. 16 between Allston Street and Whitman Road. This will include the intermittent use of alternating one-way traffic flow along High Street.
Crews will conduct paving work as part of the $1 million Safe Routes to School Project to improve safety near Brooks Elementary School.

Signs, traffic control devices, detours and police details will be in place.
Drivers are asked to reduce speed and use caution while approaching and traveling through or around the work zones.
