Road Work Ongoing Along I-93 In Somerville, Medford, Stoneham

Motorists may see delays Wednesday as crews complete roadway patching work, officials said.

MEDFORD, MA — Motorists traveling in either direction on I-93 north of Boston may run into delays Wednesday due to road work, officials announced Wednesday morning.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) said crews will conduct roadway patching work in both north and southbound lanes between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The work zone stretches through parts of Somerville, Medford and Stoneham between Route 28 in Stoneham and an area just north of Assembly Square in Somerville, according to MassDOT.
