A rash of thefts has hit parts of North and South Medford.

MEDFORD, MA — Police issued a warning to Medford residents last week after a spate of wheel and airbag thefts. The thefts typically happen between 12 a.m. and 4 a.m. and have been primarily located in North and South Medford, police said.

Targeted cars have been parked both on the street and in driveways. When air bags were taken, the thieves have broken the passenger side window, police said.

The suspects typically park near the target vehicle, and two of them will approach on foot, according to police.
