Salem Street Rotary will be closed this weekend and I-93 will be narrowed to two lanes each way from Stoneham to Somerville as crews replace bridges there. This weekend's leg of "Fast14," the Department of Transportation's summer-long rapid bridge replacement program, replaces the northbound I-93 bridges at the rotary. The project aims to replace 14 bridges on I-93 in Medford by September, with a new bridge installed every weekend of the summer. The closures start 8 p.m. Friday and continue until 5 a.m. Monday.
