: Memorial Day ceremonies were held at  on Monday in honor of veterans, active duty soldiers and marines, and casualties of war. City officials including Mayor Michael McGlynn addressed a large crowd of families. Boy scouts and girl scouts and the Medford High School band participated in the ceremonies.

: The first phase of a program to rapidly replace 14 structures along I-93 in Medford means traffic will be limited to two lanes on the interstate this weekend, starting 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Cameron Howard took home MVP honors for Greater Boston League boys lacrosse, and Olivia Timmins was named MVP for girls lacrosse. A total of 34 Medford student-athletes were named league all-stars.
