Wegmans Coming to Meadow Glen Mall in Medford
It's not yet clear when the supermarket plans to open, but the renovation of 60,000 square feet has been scheduled.

Wegmans supermarket will soon open another Massachusetts store in Medford, Mayor Michael McGlynn announced Sunday.
While speaking at his final “State of the City” address, McGlynn revealed that Wegmans has plans to lease property at the Meadow Glen Mall on the Mystic Valley Parkway.

“The Meadow Glen Mall has been permitted for the renovation of 60,000 square feet. Marshalls and Kohl’s will continue their leases, and they are welcoming new tenants, including Wegmans,” McGlynn said.
It’s not yet clear when the store plans to open, but renovations have been scheduled. Wegmans has five stores scattered across the state as of right now.

“I can confirm that negotiations are underway for a site in Medford,” Jo Natale, of Wegmans media relations, said in a statement to the Boston Globe.
