Bitty & Beau's Will Host Have a Good Morning With The Mayor This Friday

Melrose, MA –– As part of an initiative to support Melrose cafes, restaurants, and other local businesses, Mayor Brodeur invites community members to join him at Bitty & Beau’s this coming Friday February 4 from 8:00a.m. - 9:00a.m. to catch up over a cup of coffee.

This is the second stop on the Good Morning with the Mayor coffee shop tour of Melrose. Mayor Brodeur will visit a different coffee shop every Friday between the hours of 8:00a.m. and 9:00a.m. Last Friday, residents joined the Mayor at Caffè Nero, which was the first Melrose coffee shop to participate in the tour.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to start my Friday’s off right - supporting local businesses with members of the Melrose community,” said Mayor Brodeur. “We recognize that many of our Melrose businesses are feeling the effects of the pandemic. We encourage residents to continue to think local, and do what you can. When we visit our local cafes, restaurants, and businesses, we support employment opportunities for residents. We support our local economy, and above all, we foster a community that cares about and invests in itself.”

Bitty & Beau’s opened their doors at 462 Main Street in August, 2021 with the goal to create a path for people with disabilities to become more valued, accepted, and included in the community. Bitty &'s is run by people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, giving customers an experience worth so much more than just a great cup of coffee.
