Melrose Parking Ban, Trash Pickup Delayed Ahead Of Snowstorm

With possibly a foot of snow headed toward Melrose, the city is taking steps to navigate the storm.

MELROSE, MA — With possibly a foot of snow headed toward Melrose, the city is taking steps to navigate the storm.

A parking ban will be in effect from 2 a.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday. On-street parking is prohibited during the ban.

Trash and recycling pickup has been pushed to Saturday. Trash and recycling pickup will be pushed back a day next week.

The city is asking residents stay off the roads to allow plows to do their job.
