The staff of U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren will hold office hours in Milford Friday afternoon.

1. Staff from the office of U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren will hold office hours in Milford Town Hall from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday. Constituents will have the opportunity to discuss concerns they have on federal issues. Staff from Warren’s office will be available to assist residents with issues pending before a federal agency. No appointment is necessary.
2. The Milford Police Department has received a $5,000 grant to counter underage drinking. The money from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the U.S. Department of Justice can be used for police activities including stings and compliance checks at bars.

3. The Milford Area Chamber of Commerce has organized a free event for member businesses that will help them collect on unpaid debts. A panel of financial, legal and collections experts will provide tips and strategies. The event is from 8 to 9:30 a.m. April 26. Contact the chamber to register.
4. Milford Regional Medical Center is seeking new representatives for its Family and Patient Advisory Council. The applications need to be returned by the end of April. See the announcement for more details.

5. The Find Yourself Friday dance at the Milford Youth Center April 26Â will help raise funds for the Youth Center's Relay for Life team, which will take part in the relay May 10 at Milford High School.
