3. A new laundromat — EZ Laundromat — has opened in downtown Milford, on School Street, next to Memorial Hall. It features free wireless and allows customers to use credit cards to operate machines.

5. The 2013 Relay for Life for Greater Milford will be held overnight, from May 10-11 at Milford High School. This is a popular event that brings together cancer survivors and their supporters, and raises money for the American Cancer Society. A team information meeting will be Tuesday at the First Congregational Church. Still time to sign up a team!
