MILFORD, MA—The following are excerpts from the Milford police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

12:18 a.m.: Caller requesting a well-being check on his wife and children. They had an argument in Millis and the female is staying at The Best Western. The male party is concerned that his wife is not emotionally stable. Dispatch spoke with the female party directly. She reports everything is fine and is the company of her cousin at the hotel. Female is reporting her husband has a drinking problem and it is an ongoing issue. Officers will confirm her wellness.

9:14 a.m.: Caller reports 3 deer in the woods in her backyard, 17 Salvia Road

7:16 p.m.: Caller reports her friend took her children from her because she believes she is not fit to take care of her children, Senate Road

8:22 p.m.: Caller reporting that there is a black cat with white paws no collar, walking around the hallways. He is unable to bring it inside because of his dog, Animal control was left a voicemail. 13 Colonial Road

10:20 p.m.: Caller reports male party walking in the yard of 39 Howard St. hitting objects with what appears to be a skateboard.

1:45 a.m.: Rehab unit- male with knife in hand threatening staff Officer reports knife has been taken away. Requesting ambulance for transport to hospital. William H. Deroy, 72, North Main Street, Bellingham, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (two counts). CountrySide Health Care
