More than 1,700 runners descended on Hopkinton Sunday for a race that has come to be more about the community and support than a day about running. The Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K, named in honor of former Red Sox relief pitcher Mike Timlin's mother, raises money for ALS. <a href="http://racewire.com/live_results.php?firstname=&amp;lastname=&amp;town=Milford&amp;bibnumber=&amp;id=1601#5K" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Sixty-one Milford runners finished the race</a> — ages 11 to 72 — with 18-year-old Christopher Kivior, of Milford, coming in second with a 17:07 time. Patrick Levenson, 17, of Hopkinton won overall with a blistering time of 16:32; barely off a 5-minute mile.
