Milford Military PD Veteran Joins In Support Of Gannon, K9 Nero

The Milford native is joining in support of Gannon and K9 Nero by attaching a blue ribbon outside. He's hoping others will do so.

MILFORD, MA—As a veteran of the U.S. Army military police, police and K9s are near and dear to John Barrows Jr.'s heart, he says.

The Milford native recently joined in support of law enforcement and in the memory of Officer Sean Gannon, the Yarmouth police officer shot and killed last week, and his K9 Nero, who is still recovering from a gun shot wound to the face.

"I am following along with the town of Yarmouth," wrote Barrows on a town community board, "and showing my support for Sean’s family, K9 Nero’s recovery and the Yarmouth PD by flying the blue ribbons in their honor and for the honor of all our brave men and women in the law enforcement community who risk their lives everyday to keep our communities safe. God bless!"
