Milford Police Arrest Andover Man Floating Bad Medway Check
The man also had methamphetamine on him when he was arrested at a Milford bank.
MILFORD, MA — An Andover man is facing drug and fraud charges after he tried to cash a forged check at a Milford bank this week.
Milford police were called to the Prospect Street Unibank just before noon on Wednesday after an employee reported a customer trying to cash a bad check.
According to police, the Andover man was trying to cash a $4,380 check from the town of Medway. The man had forged the check so it appeared to be made out to him. Police said he likely stole it from the mail. He was also carrying methamphetamine, police said.

Police charged the man with forgery of a check, uttering a false check, attempted larceny by check and possession of a class B drug.
