Milford Police Arrest Local Man After 4-Hour Manhunt

Milford, Massachusetts State and Hopedale police arrested a local man after engaging in a four-hour manhunt Friday morning.

Officers arrested Joshua Charro, 19, who was wanted on several outstanding warrants for breaking and entering, and is expected to face additional charges of attempted breaking and entering, according to Milford Police. Charro was also charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest, possession of a Class A substance and possession of a Class B substance.

Charro, police said, has fled officers numerous times during the past two weeks as they moved in to arrest him. After a foot pursuit Friday morning, officers arrested Charro behind the Middlesex Savings Bank on S. Main Street, Milford police said.

“Some residents may have experienced some anxiety relating to the manhunt, but no one was in any danger at anytime,” Milford Police said in a statement. “We appreciate the assistance of those Milford and Hopedale residents who called in with sightings of the suspect during the manhunt.”
