Obituaries: E. Perry Wood, Dot Chamberlain, John Villani, David Hebert Jr., Ann McKenzie
These residents of Holliston, Hopkinton and Milford died in recent days.
E. Perry Wood, 93, of Franklin formerly of Milford, died March 24 in Forge Hill Senior Living, Franklin. He was the husband of the late Muriel (Conforti) Wood who died in 2008. His first wife Norma (Phillips) Wood died in 1974. Perry loved to golf and was past president of the men’s league at Clearwater Country Club, Clearwater, FL. While living in CT and RI, he took great pride in volunteering and chauffeuring celebrities and pro-golfers at many regional PGA Tournaments. He enjoyed big band music and would travel throughout New England to see Glenn Miller perform. In his youth, he was scouted by the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and was a talented American Legion Baseball player.
Dorothy N. “ Dot” (Natoli) Chamberlain, 81, of Milford, died March 21 in Genesis Healthcare Milford Center. She was the beloved wife of Arthur V. Chamberlain of 63 years. She was born in Waltham, daughter of the late John and Sophie (Cwalinski) Natoli and lived in Natick most of her life before moving to Milford in 1986. She attended Waltham Schools. Dot retired in 1989 from the former Art’s Exxon in Waltham where she was a bookkeeper for many years.
John A. Villani, 86, of Milford, died March 21 in Milford Regional Medical Center. He was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1943 and also a graduate of the Worcester Trade School. He was a World War II Army Veteran serving in the 399th Infantry Regiment 100th Division. Mr. Villani retired in 1988 from the former Dennison Corp. in Framingham where he was employed as an engineer. Previously he was employed at the former Draper Corp. in Hopedale. He was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, a member of the Hoboken Citizens Club, Hopedale Country Club, Milford Italian American Veterans, Sons of Italy in Milford and the U.S Chess Federation.

David W. Hebert Jr., 40,of Bellingham, died March 20. He was born in Milford son of David and Margaret Hebert Sr. of Milford and lived in Bellingham most of his life. He was a graduate of the King Phillip High School class of 1990. Mr. Hebert was employed as a mechanic at the Auto Max in Framingham.
Ann M. (Hession) McKenzie, 71, died March 15 at St. Patrick's Manor. She was the widow of John A. McKenzie, who died January 21, 2013. Born in Galway, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late John and Nora (Kaven) Hession. She enjoyed painting, crocheting and arts and crafts. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
