Police Log: 911 Call for Landlord-Tenant Spat, Shoplifting Complaints
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, April 2
4:17 p.m.: A woman asked police to check on the welfare of her 76-year-old uncle, who she said was being subjected to abuse. Police checked with the man, and he was fine. They found no signs of abuse.
5:18 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Cedar Street, near Wendy's. A woman complained of neck pain and was brought to Milford Regional Medical Center.

6:08 p.m.: A woman told police that she was having a fight with her husband. Police responded and the man fled the scene. Police are seeking a summons to charge Nicholas Bonner, 21, of 42 Green St., Apt. 3, Milford, with domestic assault and battery.
6:14 p.m.: A woman on Birch Street told police she found a gun in a bush in her yard. Police determined it was a pellet gun and gave her information to dispose of it.

6:25 p.m.: A woman reported her husband was 30 minutes late for a custody exchange.
6:42 p.m.: A disturbance was reported on Oliver Street. A caller had phoned on a cell phone to report a dispute with a landlord. The Milford Police determined the disagreement was over rent, and the parties were advised it was a civil matter.
6:44 p.m.: A caller at Hannaford Supermarket reported he had a shoplifter in custody. Police responded and arrested Ivan Andres Mino Mosquera, 23, of 56 Main St., Apt. 1, Milford, on charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and arrestee furnishing a false name or social security number.
Wednesday, April 3
1:08 a.m.: A Mazda was repossessed on Main Street.
1:53 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Main at Fayette streets, police were seeking a summons to charge Christopher R. Hernandez, 25, of 16 Jefferson St., Milford, with number plate violation, operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as an habitual traffic offender, unlawfully attaching license plates, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. The Ford Explorer was towed.
8:49 a.m.: A caller on Purchase Street reported her tire had been slashed.
10:52 a.m.: Police responded to Kohl's, where a woman was being detained for shoplifting. Police reported the department store would seek its own charges.
11:43 a.m.: Police received a BOLO from Grafton Police, who reported a white company van with "Breen Cleaning and Maintenance" was occupied by two males, who had reportedly stolen a .38 calibre revolver from a residence in that town.
12:15 p.m.: A caller on Shadowbrook Lane told police a man was trying to enter a van using a slim-jim. The man checked out OK.
2:10 p.m.: A caller on Fruit Street reported two men had walked into a vacant house, and entered throught the bulkhead. Police determined the men were working for a bank at that address.
4:03 p.m.: A woman in the police department lobby told police she was being harassed over the internet.
