Police Log: Boy Throwing Snowballs at Cars, Plow Driver Speeding

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, March 18

5:56 p.m.: A man reported his wallet had been stolen while at Planet Fitness. He had already cancelled the credit cards.

6:10 p.m.: A caller reported a young boy was throwing snowballs at cars on Rolling Green Drive. The child appeared to be about 5. An officer spoke to the boy.

7:14 p.m.: A caller reported an argument between a 17-year-old girl and her father. The argument started over the caller's vehicle not working. Police responded. Neither party wanted a restraining order.

4:14 a.m.: Milford Highway Department asked for police help in moving vehicles on Parker Hill Avenue for plows.

4:16 a.m.: A caller on Purchase Street told police his fence was damaged. He was not able to locate a vehicle. Police then received a call that a resident of Nancy Road had hit the fence when he was unable to stop his vehicle, an SUV.

4:19 a.m.: Milford Highway Department asked for police assistance in removing a vehicle on Grant Street for snow removal. Police located the owner, who moved the vehicle.

4:33 a.m: A man walked in to police headquarters to speak to an officer about someone asking him to buy drugs.

6:11 a.m.: A Toyota Highlander was reported to be on its side on Central Street. The male driver was able to get out of the vehicle and reported he had no injuries.

7:18 a.m.: A man in the police station lobby reported he had lost his wallet sometime the previous night.

7:33 a.m.: A 49-year-old man at Auto Zone was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center after experiencing general weakness.

8:01 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported near Sleepy's on Fortune Boulevard. No one was hurt.

8:49 a.m.: A caller on Bruno Drive told police a plow driver was driving too fast while plowing in the area.

9:02 a.m.: A caller on Green Street told police a car kept driving by the location, beeping the horn. This had been happening for a half-hour.

10:48 a.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Medway Road at Beaver Street. An officer took the husband and two children to the emergency room.

2:21 p.m.: A 44-year-old woman was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center, after hitting her head on a support beam in her living room. She had dizziness and nausea.

3:19 p.m.: A man and a woman reported items had been taken from their garage on Congress Street.
