Police Log: Crash at East Main and Hayward Streets, Illegal Dumping
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, April 3
5:11 p.m.: A caller reported her car was struck outside Milford Town Library, and the other car left the scene.
5:38 p.m.: Illegal dumping of broken concrete was reported near Ragonese Kitchen and Bath on Main Street.

7:06 p.m.: A caller on Mill Pond Circle reported people were riding recreational vehicles in the area. Police spoke to the individuals and they stopped.
8:51 p.m.: A caller reported a deer had been struck on West Street, near Whitcomb House Assisted Living. The caller said the vehicle was OK. The animal was moved to the side of the road and Animal Control contacted.

9:12 p.m.: A neighbor on Nolan Avenue said someone had been revving the engine for 45 minutes. Police spoke to the people involved.
9:39 p.m.: An erratic driver was reported on Dilla Street, after the driver almost caused an accident. The car description was BOLO-ed to all units.
Thursday, April 4
1:00 a.m.: A woman on Geneseo Circle told police she heard noises in her basement. Police checked and everything was OK.
8:13 a.m.: A crash involving two vehicles at East Main and Hayward streets injured one driver and forced another vehicle to collide with a building. According to a police report, the driver of a Toyota was on Hayward Street, stopped at the stop sign, when a vehicle traveling east on East Main came to a stop to allow her to exit. As she entered East Main Street, and started to turn west, she was struck by another vehicle heading east, which had passed the stopped car. The eastbound vehicle, a BMW, spun around and collided with a real estate office. One person was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center. No citations were issued.
