Police Log: Disturbance at Target, Stolen Plow

Thursday, March 21
4:11 p.m.: A resident on Fairview Avenue told police a white vehicle had been parked on the street for several days. Police determined the car had broken down, and that the owner had contacted the caller a few days prior. The officer then spoke to the person who was driving the car, who said it would be towed away that night.
7:03 p.m.: A hit-and-run was reported on East Main Street. A caller reported a black pickup had hit him and then left. The caller had tried to pursue the driver, but pulled over near Imperial Buffet. The vehicle that fled would have a missing side mirror and heavy side damage, according to police. A report was filed.

8:07 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a disturbance at Mery's Beauty Salon being caused by a man. Police filed a report.
9:44 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Exchange Street, police were seeking a summons to charge Luis Cunin, 23, of 44 Water St., Apt. 8, Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop or yield.

10:03 p.m.: A car struck a utility pole on Congress Street. An occupant in the Saturn was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
Friday, March 22
12:39 a.m.: Security at Shadowbrook Condominiums reported a man was wandering the halls, and his wife said she did not want him there. Police were not able to locate the man.
8:44 a.m.: A woman walked in to the Spruce Street fire station for help. She had a ring stuck on her finger.
10:18 a.m.: A Dodge Ram pickup was repossessed on South Free Street.
1:31 p.m.: Police responded to Target, where security employees were reporting a man in his 20s was causing a disturbance with customers.
2:29 p.m: A caller on South Union Street told police he had an issue with his driveway and a plow.
3:22 p.m.: A man in the police headquarters lobby reported his plow had been stolen on Beaver Street.
3:37 p.m.: Police responded to Milford Town Park after getting notification from a principal that a group of kids was going to possibly fight there. Police could find no one in the park.
