Police Log: Man Acting Strangely in the Cemetery, Arrests

Wednesday, March 13

4:32 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Richmond Avenue at Congress Street, involving a box truck and a Toyota Tundra. No one was injured. Police are seeking a summons to charge Brian D. Campbell, 51, of 148 Congress St., Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

5:14 p.m.: A man in his 40s fell from a standing position at the Ninety-Nine Restaurant. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center after complaining of back pain.

5:28 p.m.: Police responded to Milford Regional Medical Center for a report of an intoxicated man in the doctor's parking lot. Police were not able to locate him.

5:32 p.m.: A caller on Rolling Green Drive reported a domestic between his girlfriend and him. Police restored peace. No arrest was reported.

6:05 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street, near CVS, police arrested Ryan Kelly Lefave, 19, of 230 Mechanic St., Upton, on a charge of possession of a Class B drug. 

7:26 p.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters to report credit card fraud. Police filed a report.

8:20 p.m.: Police received two calls about loud noises, possibly gun shots, in the area of Saint Gobain Containers on National Street. Police determined fireworks were being shot off in the D'Angelo's parking area. Police spoke to two individuals near the CVS.

11:22 p.m.: An erratic operator was reported on East Main Street. Holliston Police reported the vehicle was driving erratically and running red lights, heading into Milford. Police checked the driver and he or she was not intoxicated.

Thursday, March 14

1:08 a.m.: A Saturn was repossessed on Water Street.

11:19 a.m.: A motorist told an officer that a man in a leather jacket was disrupting traffic near Hickey's Liquors. Police responded but could not find the man.

11:42 a.m.: A police officer assigned to Stacy Middle School spoke to a few students about fighting.

12:44 p.m.: A caller reported a man was in Vernon Grove Cemetery and he was carrying an orange rope and running oddly around the stones. Police could not locate him.

3:36 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at Sports Authority. The van had been in the parking lot for a few hours with a man inside. Police checked and it was a man on his lunch break.

4:52 p.m.: A woman reported her daughter had been unable to make contact with her daughter. The child's ride had showed up at Stacy Middle School but could not find the child. The woman then called back and said they had found the girl and everything was OK.

4:56 p.m.: The state Department of Children and Families asked police to check on the well-being of a 7-year-old. The state agency wanted to make sure the girl's older sister had secured a BB gun. Police checked the house but no one was at home.
