Police Log: Man Stumbling in the Road, Woman Driving with Baby on Lap

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, April 11

4:22 p.m.: A woman on I-495 northbound reported she felt dizzy. She was just past Exit 20. State Police responded.

5:35 p.m.: A caller on Colonial Road told police that youths were running at cars as they pass along the street.

8:53 p.m.: A woman reported a car had driven on her lawn on East Main Street. She was not sure who the car belongs to.

9:16 p.m.: A man in his 20s or 30s was stumbling in the road on Highland Street at West Fountain Street. Police responded but were not able to locate him.

11:30 p.m.: A caller reported suspicious activity in the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts on Main Street.

Friday, April 12

12:52 a.m.: A caller reported her 13-year-old was out of control. She said she was threatening to cut herself. The girl was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

10:36 a.m.: A 25-year-old man had reportedly passed out twice at the state Registry of Motor Vehicles. He was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.

12:22 p.m.: A caller told police two men were forcefully trying to put a handicapped man into a car at the McDonald's on South Main Street. Police responded but the car was gone.

1:37 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Cedar Street near Wendy's. One woman reportedly had a back injury.

1:59 p.m.: A caller at Kohl's reported that a woman in a Toyota Corolla fled the parking lot with an infant on her lap. She said the woman had been questioned for shoplifting when she fled the store. Police could not locate the vehicle.
