Police Log: Noisy Tire Changers, Threats from the Landlord

Friday, March 29

3:21 p.m.: A man asked to speak to a police officer about an incident at his workplace. He said a woman backed into him.

4:48 p.m.: A caller reported a shoplifter at Kohl's Department Store. Police are seeking a summons to charge Courtney Libby, 21, of 30 Cavanaugh Rd., Framingham, with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

7:38 p.m.: A Ford Focus was repossessed on Harris Avenue.

8:09 p.m.: Five or six youths were causing a disturbance on Meade Street, and set off a car alarm, a caller reported.

Saturday, March 30

2:11 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on School at Purchase streets, police were seeking a summons to charge Julia P. Rutherford, 25, of 83 School St., Apt. 3, Milford, with operating an uninsured motor vehicle an having no inspection sticker.

2:17 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on South Main at Fruit streets, police were seeking a summons to charge Lester O. Gonzalez, 23, of 49 Prospect Heights, Milford, with operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

5:14 a.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report a domestic. She said she and her boyfriend had been drinking the previous night, and then he began to argue with her and after leaving would not stop texting and calling her. An emergency restraining order was granted.

10:55 a.m.: A caller reported cars were parked on both sides of Walnut Street, making it difficult to get through.

2:02 p.m.: A crash was reported involving a motorcycle and a PT Cruiser on West Street at Deluca Road.

5:24 p.m.: A caller told police her landlord is making threats against her husband, and said he was going to get a gun and hurt him. Police restored peace.

6:32 p.m.: A woman reported someone had taken money from her home on Depot Street.

9:21 p.m.: A man reported he had just had an argument with his wife and wanted to speak to an officer about it.

11:07 p.m.: A party with a bonfire was reported on Luby Avenue.

Sunday, March 31

12:16 a.m.: A caller told police two men were making a lot of noise in the Midas parking lot on East Main Street. Police determined the men were changing a tire, and were finishing when police arrived.

12:59 a.m.: Bellingham Police issued a BOLO for a woman who reportedly left her house with a .357 handgun and a note saying goodbye, and asked police to contact them if her vehicle was found.

1:16 a.m.: An officer reported he was checking the well-being of a woman on Court Square. She was out looking for a lost cat.

1:28 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, police arrested Gilmar Almeida Andrade, 27, of 185 Beaver St., Apt. 2, Framingham, on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop or yield.

2:16 a.m.: A caller reported a woman driver was passed out in her vehicle in between the two drive-thru windows at McDonald's on South Main Street. Police found the woman was over-tired and would have a friend drive her home. An ambulance was cancelled.

9:57 a.m.: Police responded to Cherry Street, where State Police reported nine 911 hang up calls had originated over the past two days. The owner of the cell phone told Milford Police her neice has it, and she does not know where she is.

11:35 a.m.: A caller reported a theft from her home on Silver Hill Road.
