Police Log: Pitbull Mix Bites Small Dog, which then Bites its Owner
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, March 22
4:09 p.m.: A disturbance was reported outside Milford Town Library. A caller reported a group of kids had pushed a juvenile into a vehicle, which caused damage to the car. A report was filed.
4:49 p.m.: The owner of Jerry's Bait and Tackle reported someone had stolen items from the store. But he was able to convince the man to pay for the items.

6:00 p.m.: A caller in the center of the Shaw's parking lot reported someone had hit her vehicle. The other driver left. A witness left a note. Police called Mendon Police and asked that department to contact the person who had left the scene.
6:03 p.m.: A woman and a man were arguing in the police station lobby over a custody issue. Both were advised multiple times to separate and stay quiet. Police spoke to the people and determined it was a matter for probate court.

8:00 p.m.: A disturbance was reported at McDonald's on South Main Street. A caller said a group of kids were arguing in the drive-thru. Police found nothing was happening when officers arrived.
8:59 p.m.: A woman reported she was arguing with her husband about their children. The man left in a pickup truck. Police spoke to the man, who said he would stay with a friend overnight. The woman requested a restraining order. The on-call judge was contacted and the order granted.
10:51 p.m.: An officer checked out a car in the Fafama Auto Sales lot. The man checked out OK, and said he was just looking at a car he wanted to purchase.
11:33 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, police arrested Jaylynn Richard, 26, of 86 Maple St., Holliston, on charges of OUI liquor and blocking/causing gridlock at an intersection.
Saturday, March 23
12:11 a.m.: A disturbance was reported on Main Street. A man reported a woman wouldn't give him his keys. The man left. The woman didn't want a restraining order.
1:37 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street and Zain Circle, police arrested Sean M. Fitzpatrick, 26, of 12 Glacier Way, Holliston, on charges of OUI liquor and marked lanes violation.
2:46 a.m.: Medway received a 911 call about a group of girls arguing. The girls were picked up in a white SUV, and were possibly heading into Milford. If located, a well-being check was requested. Police could not locate the vehicle.
3:04 a.m.: A caller on Lyndon Road told police he could hear yelling coming from another apartment. Another caller said her friend was very intoxicated, physical and verbal arguing. Police restored peace. The woman was taken to the police station to arrange a ride home.
6:20 a.m.: A woman asked to speak to an officer about an incident that had occurred at the library the previous day.
10:39 a.m.: A caller from Nathan's Jewelers asked to speak to an officer about possible stolen jewelry.
12:44 p.m.: An erratic operator was reported near the Dairy Queen. Police pulled the vehicle over near Marshall's jewelers, and spoke to the driver.
1:47 p.m.: A man asked to speak to an officer about suspicious letters he had been receiving.
6:05 p.m.: A man reported his girlfriend had put her hands on him, and she now wants him to come home, but he's concerned that the fight they had will escalate. He spoke to an officer.
6:05 p.m.: A caller told police it appeared as if someone was sleeping under a blanket on the Milford Upper Charles Trail bike path. Police responded to the Dilla Street entrance and walked into the woods about a half-mile. Police found a bunch of blankets and sleeping bags rolled up.
10:47 p.m.: Holliston reported an erratic driver heading into Milford. Police found the driver at School and Spruce streets and initiated a stop. The driver checked out OK.
11:09 p.m.: A caller requested officers for a loud music noise complaint on South High Street. Police spoke to the people involved.
Sunday, March 24
12:56 a.m.: A caller on Claflin Street reported yelling and loud music at an apartment. Police responded and found a large house party. All available units were dispatched. Officers restored peace.
2:01 a.m.: A caller reported loud music at the Claflin Street house. This was the second response for a noise complaint that evening. Several officers responded and restored peace.
8:40 a.m.: Following a report of a theft at Peter's Market, police were seeking a summons to charge Craig A. Johnson, 49, of 32 Neck Hill Rd., Mendon, with receiving a stolen credit card, non-cardholder signing a credit card and larceny under $250.
11:26 a.m.: A hit-and-run was reported on Meday Road near the Dollar Tree Store.
12:51 p.m.: A caller at Stop & Shop requested an officer for a past shoplifting report.
12:54 p.m.: A caller reported his house on West Walnut Street had been egged again. He asked for additional patrols.
1:36 p.m.: A caller reported a pitbull was attacking a person on Hamilton Street. According to the police report, a woman was walking her pitbull mix opposite a woman with a small dog. The small dog approached her dog, and she warned the woman not to come too close. The woman with the pitbull mix had the dog on a leash, but the dog broke away from her and went after the small dog and bit it. The other woman told police she was walking her 8-month-old Shiba Inu and when she had the dog in her arms, the pitbull bit her dog. As she attempted to restrain her dog, she was bitten by her own dog on the chin and both hands. A witness told police she heard squealing, and looked outside, and observed both women attempting to get the dogs apart. "She observed the pitbull with the little dog in its mouth," the police report stated.
2:53 p.m.: A caller told police a diamond necklace was stolen from his home on Howard Street, possibly during an open house.
