Police Log: Woman Attacked by her Cat, Woman Jumps into Traffic
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Friday, March 15
9:47 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Mechanic Street, police arrested Luis Clavijo, 32, of 35 Pearl St., Apt. 2, Milford, on a warrant and charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

12:20 a.m.: Police responded to Lawrence Street for a report of loud music and talking. Police filed a report.
12:42 a.m.: Police responded to Purchase Street for a report of loud music. Police spoke to the people involved.

1:47 a.m.: Police assisted Hopedale Police, who had reported two suspects fled after a breaking-and-entering at Dunkin Donuts on Hartford Avenue. The suspects were in a dark colored Nissan. Police checked East Main Street and Medway Road, and Route 16 but could not locate the vehicle.
3:01 a.m.: Police checked on a vehicle in the parking lot of the Tradesman. Police brought the man inside the car back to the police station, to make arrangements for a ride home. His mother picked him up.
4:33 a.m.: A caller reported she received a call from her daughter, who said her boyfriend was flipping out. The mother was concerned for her daughter, and because she was there with a young child. The male had taken off. Police filed a report.
9:29 a.m.: A caller reported a two-car crash on Prospect Street, near Francis Flowers. No injury was reported.
10:18 a.m.: A caller told police she was driving near Sacred Heart of Jesus Church when a woman in jeans and a white shirt, and a tattoo on her back, jumped in front of her car. The woman asked for them to hit her. Police responded but the woman was gone.
12:04 p.m.: A man asked to speak to an officer about a crash he had been in near Isabel's Coffee Shop the previous night.
1:05 p.m.: A caller on West Fountain Street reported a dead cat was on the sidewalk. Animal Control was contacted.
5:06 p.m.: Hopedale Police reported a short pursuit on Main at Prospect streets, and had a suspect detained. They asked for Milford Police assistance.
5:24 p.m.: A caller reported a car-vs-motorcycle crash on Cape Road near Domino's Pizza. Hopedale responded, as well, and requested an ambulance. One person was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
6:41 p.m.: Firefighters were dispatched to Carroll Street, where a 3-year-old had reportedly swallowed a penny.
7:17 p.m.: A motorist told an officer on Granite Street that someone was screaming for help in the area. Police responded and checked the area but found nothing amiss.
8:06 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported near Tedeschi. No one was injured.
10:43 p.m.: A caller reported she was behind a vehicle near Hickey's Liquors that was crossing over lines and appeared intoxicated. Police were not able to locate the vehicle, after it took a left on to Route 109 heading toward Medway.
11:48 p.m.: A caller reported he was being threatened by a man on Jefferson Street.
Sunday, March 17
12:08 a.m.: A caller told police a man was stumbling in the road near Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, near the bike trail. Police gave the man a ride to his house.
8:05 a.m.: A caller on Pheasant Circle reported her cat was attacking her. Police responded, and Animal Control was contacted and responded, too. The woman was chased by the cat into her bathroom. She was scratched, but otherwise OK, according to a police comment on the department's Facebook page.
8:52 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street, near CVS, police arrested Nancy Dias, 34, of 106 Hayward St., Milford, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as an habitual traffic offender, and obstructed or nontransparent window.
2:46 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street, near EZ Way Car Wash, police arrested Kevin Benjamin Emerick, 31, of 18 Kennedy St., Uxbridge, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and no inspection sticker.
3:16 p.m.: A caller reported his car was keyed on Colonial Road.
