Senior Center Repairs, Street Demo, LED Lights: Milford Projects

The town administrator recently provided an update on three projects in town.

MILFORD, MA—At the most recent Milford Board of Selectmen meeting, the town administrator updated the board (and the public) on three projects that are happening in Milford.

The repairs to the Senior Center are underway, and most of the outside repairs have been completed, according to the town manager's report. Next up for this project is an inspection by the building commissioner and then completion of the interior work. Town Counsel is continuing to pursue a claim against the owner of the vehicle who caused the damage.

Brighter Horizons Environmental has begun preparing for the demolition of the properties at 22 and 30 Central St. Fencing has been set up and all utilities have been shut off, and police details were confirmed. Four parking spaces will be blocked off and the project should take about two weeks.
