Thanks To Yanks Holds Annual Hope For Heroes Donation Drive

MILFORD, MA—Thanks To Yanks just announced recently that it is sponsoring the annual Hope for Heroes Donation Drive again this year.

It'll be held from Nov. 8-11, and the donation drive will be collecting items for homeless veterans residing at various veteran shelters in the area.

The drop-off location is DCH Milford Toyota, 300 Fortune Boulevard, Milford.

Donation Hours:
Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 8 and 9 (9 a.m. to 8 p.m/)
Friday, Nov. 10 (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Saturday, Nov. 11 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Items needed:
* New Bedding - Twin Blankets and Sheets
* New Towels
* Gift Cards - CVS, Target, Walgreen or Walmart
* Non-perishable Food Products

* Hygiene Items - Men’s/Women’s Deodorant, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Toothbrushes and Toothpaste, Razors, Feminine Hygiene Products, Shaving Cream
* Clothing - New or Gently Used Coats (L-XL), Winter Hats, New Men’s Underwear (L-XL), Men’s/Women’s Gloves (L-XL), Socks, Sweat Tops and Bottoms (L-XL)

On the morning of Saturday, Nov. 11, DCH Milford will be providing free coffee and donuts for all who come in to donate.

About the organization: Thanks To Yanks, is a non-political 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support military members, veterans and their families. Founded in 2006 as a onetime 9/11 Tribute Dinner to recognize the sacrifices military families endured in response to the attacks.
