Who Killed The Milford Shaw's Turkey?
The beloved "Shaw's turkey" was apparently hit and killed by a vehicle recently, and folks are wondering who did it.

MILFORD, MA—The "Shaw's turkey" had become a friendly staple to those shopping in the area. It wasn't a turkey in the meat market at the store; it was a friendly turkey outside that hung out and got to know a whole bunch of Milford folks.
Sadly, it was reported on the Milford Community Board on Facebook on Saturday morning that the turkey was spotted lying on the side of 140 in front of Hill Plaza, apparently struck and killed by a car.
"Such a shame. Much joy and wonderment," posted one resident.

"Many people called her the Shaws Turkey because many months that where she stared appearing," said Nada Pires. "She would also always be out in that middle island. She had her own Facebook and even T-shirts. She was also known as Pam the Turkey, making visits to Honeydew , the bank etc. She brightened so many people's otherwise stressful day."
