Needham Exchange Club Open To New Members

Cindy Chaston, president elect of the Needham Exchange Club and Dan Gutekanst, Needham Public Schools superintendent and Exchange Club member, recently appeared on The Needham Channel’s  “Exchanging Ideas” with host and Exchange Club member John Milligan.

They discussed the club’s mission of service to the community and how much it meant to them and the other members to be able to give back to Needham through that service.

The Exchange Club is probably best known for Needham’s Fourth of July Celebration, including the parade and fireworks, which it organizes and staffs at no cost to taxpayers.

When Chaston and Gutekanst were asked if the 100-member club is accepting new members, the answer was an emphatic “yes." There is always room for others who enjoy the camaraderie of other “doers.”

Anyone interested in learning more about club membership are encouraged to check out the club’s website, www.needhamexchangeclub.org, or to contact any of the clubs members who are listed both on the website and on pages 10 and 11 in the 2012 Needham Phone Book with the blue cover.
