Our culinary inspiration and much of our produce come directly from Saltbox Farm, Chef Ben's family farm built in Concord, Massachusetts in the 1940s by his grandparents. With ingredients grown right on the farm, and other local businesses, we are proud to uphold Concord’s agricultural heritage, cultivating a sustainable future. Our team serves the greater Boston area, the Berkshires, Cape Cod, and beyond, including New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, and Vermont. In last weekend's debate at St. Anselm's College in Manchester, NH, Temple Beth Shalom's own Zoe Staum, from Lafayette College, daughter of Temple Beth Shalom members Stephen Staum and Carol Urwitz, bested two Ivy leaguers from Penn in the semi and final rounds to win the Lincoln Douglas Debate competition. Staum is a graduate of Needham High School.  The trophy is for first place Lincoln Douglas Debate, one plaque is for best speaker and the other plaque is an annual Jack Lynch Award for the debater who best exemplifies the spirit of debate.  Congratulations to Zoe and her family on this accomplishment!
