The third annual fundraiser for Needham Steps Up, a mentoring program for low-income Needham High School students, is coming up on Monday, Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Needham Sheraton Hotel.
The program will honor Susan Bonauito, former director of planning and community education for Needham Public Schools, and will feature Marty Martinez, Mass Mentoring president and CEO.
The mission of Needham Steps Up is to bridge the opportunity gap for income-eligible Needham Public School students through mentoring and educational support that help make college and post-secondary success a reality. Hear how the program has changed lives in an evening featuring dinner, a silent auction and the presentation of the First Annual Stepping Up for Education Award to a highly regarded educator.
