Boston Man Arrested After Assaulting Needham Police Officers

Kevin Fulham, 31, was charged with assault and battery on an officer and resisting arrest.

A resident of Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood was arrested and charged after allegedly assaulting two Needham Police officers on Thursday.

Kevin Fulham, 31, was charged with assault and battery on an officer, assault and resisting arrest, in addition to having two outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Police responded to Highland Avenue around 3 p.m. for a report of an unwanted person causing a disturbance. Upon arriving at the scene, Fulgham was ordered to stop his behavior.

Police later determined there were two active warrants for Fulgham’s arrest.

Fulgham then resisted arrest and proceed to assault both officers at the scene before surrendering, officials say.
