This friendly orange-and-white tabby cat is available for adoption through Neponset Valley Humane Society.

If you can provide a home for a great cat who wants to be your little buddy, then you will definitely want to meet Colby.
This adorable and very friendly orange-and-white tabby cat is sweet and mellow and totally enjoys being around people. He follows his foster family around like a little puppy dog, all in an effort to have the opportunity to sit beside a person. He is very affectionate and lovable. Colby gets along well with the cats in his foster home and would make a nice friend for a gentle, welcoming cat, or he would also be fine as the only pet.

Because of a broken bone that healed improperly, Colby cannot use his right front leg. This old injury must have been awful for Colby while he was a stray. Now that he is indoors and safe, he gets along fine, jumps as well as any cat and has no idea he is anything less than perfect.
Colby is about one to two years old.

More to adopt: In addition to Colby, NVHS volunteers are currently caring for many friendly house cats including a young declawed Burmese cat. You can see our many fantastic felines in need of families to call their own on our website at neponsethumane.org. Please adopt if you can.
Low-cost spay/neuter clinic: The next NVHS low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats is Tuesday, Oct. 9. Male cat neuters are $75 and female cat spays are $85. NVHS has a program for any cat owner who cannot afford these greatly reduced prices. Spay/neuter is the only way to stop pet overpopulation and ensure every pet gets the loving home they deserve. Please spay/neuter your pet.
